"Big Red" goes to 'school'.....

Twin Springs donates to the Black Stallion Literacy Foundation; here are some pics of Twin Springs ranch horse playing the part of 'Big Red' in the Walter Farley classic, Little Black, A pony. We travelled to 3 different schools this week to show over 200 children what a joy it is to get to read, and specifically, read about 2 characters in their book called 'Little Black' and 'Big Red'. [Twin Springs is also host to the '2nd Touch' in May when over 500 children will be bussed to our facility from area schools to enjoy a show along with getting to read to horses!

Play Day at Twin Springs....brrr!

Saturday was a bit chilly, but we were pretty comfortable in our heated indoor arena! ;) ;) Later, the sun came out and here are a few of our Savvy Students letting their horses get a drink from the creek and enjoy the sunshine! We had fun inside playing with the new toys; bridge and teeter-totter. Christi even rode Maverick over the teeter-totter! Thanks to all who came out to join us! Oh, we had some tasty snacks too! ;) Food is good!
